Description

American Eagle Pommel Sword with bone grip and a Widmann style eagle head pommel design circa 1820-1830.
This sword has a Widmann variant head with an eagle with closed beak and pointed-style tombstones at the base of the head and an ornate stand of arms and armor knuckle bow with Federal Eagle shell guard design. The blade is a later style likely post Civil War era.
