Wade was from Mills River, North Carolina and died at age 64…He made custom knives for over 25 years and to quote one close friend patron of his: “Wade didn’t know how to make a small knife”…He was a true Master Engraver and quit making knives many years ago to concentrate on higher end gun engraving which is what he did until he died.
