WWII US Winchester Model 1897 Winchester Takedown Trench Shotgun…An authentic late war Trench Shotgun in very fine condition overall…Barrel is dated 42 and stamped with a Flaming Bomb and Winchester inspection stamp, stock is stamped G.H.D. over US Ordnance Department cartouche, receiver is stamped with a Flaming Bomb and U.S. in capital letters, Winchester butt plate has a piece missing as shown…Action is quite stiff from long storage and needs a thorough cleaning…An iconic US military shotgun…Trades considered for rare US Airborne and Vietnam Special Forces artifacts or vintage watches like Rolex, Omega, Tudor.
