Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Colt Archives Letter

$2,995.00

First Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Colt Archives Letter stating that this revolver was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company St. Louis, Missouri on December 29, 1899. Factory records indicate the barrel length was 4 3/4″, the caliber was 44/40, and the revolver was nickel finished. The pistol is matching, but the barrel was likely replaced since it is stamped 45 COLT. The action is tight with positive lockup and there are no known issues. The Colt grips are later replacements, they do not fit as snugly as factory fit grips normally do. Overall, this is a very good representative example single action revolver that is post 1898 and is considered a modern firearm.

Additional photos on request. This weapon is available in my store by appointment.
