Fine quality heavy iron hachi bowl that dates from late Momoyama to early Edo period is mounted with shakudo visor rim and shakudo tehen-no-kanamono…Original antique Maidate of brass and mixed metal…Lacquer Shikoro and liner are Edo period…Russet iron bowl appears to be unsigned, but I can not see the entire interior without removing the liner…A fine original Samurai iron fighting kabuto not a later parade helmet.
