Nickel plated crescent shaped gorget with “SS” runes on a black disc above a gilt metal legend  “Streifendienst” . Ribbed gilt bosses in upper corners…Reverse is covered with dark blue cloth…Two uniform hooks, the center one marked “140”, “SS” and “RZM”…Lacking its chain…A fine and rare SS gorget in excellent condition.
