WW1 U.S. Model of 1917 EDDYSTONE Rifle issued in WWI is in excellent condition and retains most of its bright original arsenal finish…The barrel is stamped E 3-18 and the receiver is serial numbered 1241994…The wood stock has an E stamped into the stock fore end…Bright clean bore…At some point this rifle has been to an arsenal for inspection and there may be small parts that are not E stamped for Eddystone, but this rifle appears to be correct for its date of manufacture…Overall a fine representative example of the US 1917 rifle.
