WWII Japanese Army Officer’s Sword Shin Gunto Signed Takehisa and dated 1943. Takehisa was featured in John Slough’s Modern Japanese Swordsmiths 1868-1945 and is recorded as a swordsmith who produced medium-grade Showa-to during the war. This sword is in very fine condition as illustrated and remains as issued with moderate wear.
